II. Sources and categories of personal data

We may process personal data that:

  • you provide directly to us, for example when creating an account, placing an order, contacting us, subscribing to a newsletter or exercising your rights;
  • we obtain in connection with the performance and fulfilment of your order or other contractual relationship with us;
  • is generated when you use our website, subject to applicable cookie and consent requirements.

Depending on how you use our services, the personal data processed may include in particular:

  • identification data, such as name and surname;

III. Purposes and legal bases of processing

We process personal data only where there is an appropriate legal basis under the GDPR. Depending on the processing activity, the legal basis may include:

  • Performance of a contract or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract – Article 6(1)(b) GDPR;
  • Compliance with a legal obligation applicable to the Controller – Article 6(1)(c) GDPR;
  • Legitimate interests pursued by the Controller or a third party, provided that such interests are not overridden by your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms – Article 6(1)(f) GDPR;
  • Your consent, where processing is based on consent – Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.

Where personal data is necessary for entering into or performing a contract, failure to provide the required data may make it impossible for us to conclude the contract, process the order or provide the requested service.

We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing, including profiling, that produce legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affect you, unless such processing is lawfully introduced and you are informed separately in accordance with the GDPR.

IV. Retention of personal data

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and processed, including for the period required to fulfil contractual obligations, comply with applicable Belgian and European legal obligations, and establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Where processing is based on consent, personal data may be processed until consent is withdrawn, unless another legal basis requires or permits further retention. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

After the applicable retention period expires, personal data will be deleted or anonymised unless further retention is required or permitted by law.

VII. Cookies and analytics

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for the operation of the website and, where enabled, technologies for preferences, analytics or marketing.

Where required by law, non-essential cookies and similar technologies are used only after you have provided your consent. You can change or withdraw your cookie preferences through the cookie settings available on the website.
