Koala (2025) - 1 - Oz Silver Collector Coin

The Perth Mint's exhibition special depicts a koala climbing a eucalyptus tree. The design features the inscriptions "KOALA" and The Perth Mint's mint mark "P", as well as the weight, purity and year of the coin.

This extremely limited edition is packaged in an illustrated colour card which also features the event logo. On the back of the card is a fold-out stand for display in an upright position.

Series fineness and size

The complete Australia Koala coin series consists of 1/10 oz, ½ oz, 1 oz, 10 oz and 1 kg denominations. All silver coins in this series are minted from 999/1000 fine silver. The issuer of this silver coin is the Perth Mint, which produces many other well-known investment products such as the Kookaburra and Lunar series. Since 2008, the 1 kg Koala silver coin has been very popular with investors and collectors. The coin owes its name to the well-known representative of Australia, the koala.
